Punch For A Purpose: Fitness For A Cause Kickoff

Chicago Reach

Last weekend, Chicago Reach hosted its inaugural Fitness for a Cause event at Rumble Boxing, and it packed quite the punch. Participants across Chicago came together to raise funds and awareness for Urban Initiatives, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Chicago youth through soccer and other after-school programs. The energy in the room was electric as attendees threw jabs and hooks, all for a meaningful cause. Thanks to the incredible turnout and generous donations, we’re proud to share that we reached our donation goal and 100% of the proceeds are going directly to support Urban Initiatives’ students!

Chicago Reach is committed to lowering the barrier of entry to volunteerism and social engagement by providing a low-commitment way to learn about and get involved with Chicago non-profits. By building a strong community around these organizations, we aim to create meaningful connections that inspire action.

Events like Fitness for a Cause are more than just workouts—they’re about giving back to the community. By combining fitness with philanthropy, we’re fostering connections and making a difference in Chicago. We’re thrilled to continue this momentum next month with another Fitness for a Cause event at Heat 3.0 Pilates on December 14th. Stay tuned for details, and let’s keep the movement going strong.
